If you are looking for another type of apprenticeship, please visit the government site to see all the different apprenticeships that are available, and which training providers offer them.

Below, we’ve provided some more specific advice and links to further information for those who are just starting out in their career and are considering the apprenticeship option, as well as for those who are coming to the end of their apprenticeship and are thinking about their next steps.

If you want to find out more about creating a CV, applying for apprenticeship vacancies or preparing for interviews, download our Employability Pack for Apprentices which covers all of these topics.

And here are a couple more articles on our website which you might find helpful:

To find out more about apprenticeships, see our Student Overview and Student FAQ pages, which will provide you with lots of information about how they work and what is involved. If you still have questions, just get in touch with us.

If you apply for an apprenticeship with us, we have a dedicated recruitment team who will help you every step of the way, including helping you decide which vacancies will be right for you, making suggestions to improve your CV, and helping you prepare for your interview.

If you’re about to come to the end of your apprenticeship, you may be wondering what’s next?

Different pathways that our apprentices have taken include:

  • Remaining in their current role now they are fully competent
  • Undertaking a higher level apprenticeship
  • Gaining a promotion and/or taking on more responsibility
  • Moving on to a different company
  • Studying a part-time higher education course

As you come to the end of your apprenticeship, talk to your coach and line manager about what options are available to you. At Damar, we do have progression pathways for a number of our apprenticeships.

Damar Orange Quotes
“I decided to do the apprenticeship so that I could learn my job in a more technical way. I wanted to learn about law generally, as well as knowing more about the types of law I practice as part of my job role.I have grown to love the almost ‘classroom feel’ to the online workshops. They are sessions with a real live person (not a robot). They are usually someone with an advanced practice of law and it is great to bounce off the other students using our video streams and have actual conversations about the law we are studying.”
