Job Description: Compliance Administrator

Department: Finance and Compliance

Role overview:

In this role you will be a key member of our Finance and Compliance Team, working against our pillars of expertise as we deliver the Damar Difference.  This role is key in helping us maintain and monitor our financial performance as well as ensuring compliance towards our regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with the Education & Skills Funding Agency Funding Rules across all areas of apprenticeship delivery
  • Working with the compliance team to drive high performance on a day to day basis ensuring that high quality outputs and professional service delivery is maintained at all times
  • Maximising monthly funding returns by minimising errors and highlighting potential problems
  • Data entry of student information and accurately updating any changes on PICS
  • Apprenticeship Service account management and accurately recording/editing information
  • Co-ordinate with external stakeholders on funding issues and apprenticeship funding claims
  • Have a good working knowledge of our internal systems to ensure our data is correct and up to date
  • Work closely with other departments to assist with compliance issues
  • Assist in book keeping when required
  • Proactive relationship building with all departments, ensuring information is relayed in a timely manner
  • Work with other members of the team to ensure high quality outputs and that a professional service delivery is always maintained
  • Supporting ad hoc project work as and when the need arises

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) particularly using Excel for data entry and analysis
  • Brilliant communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good experience of building relationships

Knowledge and qualifications:

  • 5 good GCSEs (grade 4 or above) or equivalent, including English and maths
  • Work/office experience
