Damar Training’s legal apprentices received some fantastic results on Friday from their January 2020 CILEx exams.
The Level 6 Chartered Legal Executive apprentices averaged a 96% pass rate across the nine units, with seven units having a 100% pass rate. A special well done to Sherelle Corbridge, Abi Exelby and Rebecca Millard for achieving distinction grades. For almost all of the units (eight out of nine), the Damar pass rate was substantially higher than the national average.
The Level 3 Paralegal apprentices averaged an 81% pass rate across the 14 units, with six units having a 100% pass rate. For 12 of the units, the Damar pass rate greatly exceeded the national average. Again, a number of our students achieving distinctions, which is amazing.
These results are a reflection of the ongoing success of Damar Training’s legal apprenticeship programmes. We have experience of working with many of the country’s biggest and most successful law firms, as well as supporting legal teams within other types of businesses.
Damar Training were at the forefront of the development of the legal apprenticeship standards and remain one of the few training providers offering this range of legal apprenticeships, which includes a training delivery model that is 100% work-based. This means that we can offer more flexible, blended training that does not require the apprentice to attend college one day a week.
Donna Ridgway, Legal Programme Manager, said: “I am so proud of our legal knowledge team, our trainers, employers and their apprentices who have, once again, achieved some outstanding results, through hard work and commitment to their legal programmes. Well done to everyone. Keep up the good work and good luck with your ongoing studies.”
