Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Senior Marketing Executive to drive our marketing initiatives across multiple channels and touchpoints. This role is central to executing our content strategy, enhancing our digital presence, and creating compelling campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand awareness. The successful candidate will be a hands-on marketing professional who can work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver impactful marketing outcomes.

  • Location: Hybrid (our offices are located near Piccadilly Station in Manchester city centre)
  • Normal hours of work: Full time – as set out in your terms and conditions of employment
  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Reporting to: Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Explore, identify and create compelling customer success stories for case studies
  • Research and identify relevant keywords and trending topics to create high-quality, SEO-optimised blog content that positions the organisation as a thought leader
  • Develop new marketing materials and update existing collateral to ensure brand consistency and message relevance
  • Maintain and update the website, ensuring it remains fresh, relevant, and aligned with current campaigns
  • Create compelling ad copy and source or design engaging imagery for advertising campaigns
  • Design, write and send engaging email campaigns; schedule and send emails, monitoring deliverability and engagement metrics
  • Write engaging social media posts and design eye-catching images tailored to each platform’s audience and best practices
  • Support PR activity including media coverage, speaking engagements, and industry commentary
  • Create and distribute internal communications to keep teams informed and engaged
  • Support the execution of relevant industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities; create engaging exhibition stands and supporting materials
  • Explore relevant webinar topics that address audience pain points and interests; plan and promote webinars across multiple channels
  • Identify award opportunities that align with organisational strengths and achievements, creating persuasive award nominations that showcase impact and excellence
  • Monitor key performance indicators across all marketing channels; provide regular reporting on marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Knowledge and qualifications

  • Proven track record in B2B marketing roles with specific experience in content creation (e.g. blogs, case studies, press releases) and digital campaign management (e.g. email, social media, analytics)
  • Degree-level education in marketing, communications or related field
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and the professional training/education industry landscape.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Content creation and copywriting expertise
  • Digital marketing proficiency, including use of digital tools and platforms for research and analytics, social media, emails and events
  • Website management and CMS experience
  • Basic design ability with experience of using tools such as Canva

Job description

As a member of Damar’s business development team, you will sell the benefits of apprenticeships to employers and help them plan and manage apprenticeship programmes that meet their organisational needs and develop the skills of their people. You will be happy working autonomously and to agreed targets.

  • Location: Home-based with frequent travel to Manchester office (typically one day per week in the office, remote working would be considered for candidates based outside the north west)
  • Normal hours of work: Full time – as set out in your terms and conditions of employment
  • Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience), plus a non-contractual bonus
  • Reporting to: Divisional Manager – Business Development.
