Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking two dynamic and results-driven Business Development Managers with a proven track record in strategic selling. This role is pivotal in driving our growth and expanding our apprenticeship offerings to new and existing employer partners. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and secure new apprenticeship opportunities.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, industry partners, and educational institutions.

Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs through effective pipeline management and conversion of leads.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, business support and program delivery, to ensure seamless onboarding and employer/student satisfaction.

Reporting and Data Input: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management. Maintain accurate and up to date client records. 

Skills, knowledge and personal attributes

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the apprenticeship or education sector.

Strategic Selling: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans which lead to new business opportunities as well as existing client growth. 

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.

Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with partner-employers and attend industry events.
