We have lots of exciting activity taking place this week for National Apprenticeship Week.
We launched #NAW2022 with videos and case studies from some of our partner-employers such as Clarion and Irwin Mitchell. We also shared an introduction to management apprenticeships video by Damar coach, Julie, which you can view here.
On Tuesday, we shared a video from Molly and her line manager, Claire, at Irwin Mitchell. Molly won our Apprentice of the Month Award in January and you can view her video here. We also shared a case study of our Supervisor of the Month, Natalie Sheer, at Catalyst.
The virtual National Apprenticeship Show and the Skills for Growth SME employer event both took place on Wednesday. Thank you for everyone who visited us to find out more about apprenticeships.
On Thursday we’ve shared top tips for working from home for new apprentices, and some quotes from apprentices about their apprenticeship experience. We also featured one of our key partner employers, Higgs LLP.
On Friday we finished with a case study of Beth at Catalyst, who won our Apprentice of the Month Award at the end of last year. We also celebrated the success of Damar’s very own apprentice, Olivia.
The theme for 2022 was “Build the future”. Peter Mucklow, Director, Apprenticeships, Education and Skills Funding Agency said: “We want current apprentices from all sectors and of all ages to get behind the Week and to demonstrate the positive impact of apprenticeships on their careers, families and communities.”
